Monty's Bay Campsites is located on Lake Champlain, 12 miles south of the U.S.- Canadian border and 8 miles north of Plattsburgh, New York. Monty's Bay Campsite is located at the center of Monty’s bay it offers1/4 mile of shoreline and panoramic views of the surrounding New York and Vermont shorelines and mountains. Our season extends from May 1 to October 15.

The adjoining Gilbert Brook Marina offers docking and mooring facilities for both sail and power boats.

Monty's Bay Campsites is only 4 miles from exit 40 on Interstate 87, and close to Plattsburgh for shopping, restaurants, and other conveniences.

*Plus metered electricity paid at the end of each season ($0.18 per kWh for 2008).

Season campers will receive 2 transferable parking permits for their use. Parking permits will be required in all vehicles on the property. Season campers with more than 2 cars or a vehicle without a permit on any day will be charged $3.00 per day for each additional vehicle, for visitor parking. Visitors must park in designated parking areas.
